Cambridge Studcambridge stud logoCambridge Stud is owned by Sir Patrick and Lady Hogan and was established in 1976.

Cambridge Stud was the home of the internationally known Sir Tristram, sire of 45 individual Group One Winners in Australasia. Sir Tristram died in 1997 and was inducted into New Zealand Racing Hall of Fame in 2008.  His son Zabeel also stood at Cambridge Stud and has sired 46 Group One winners; Zabeel  won the Dewar Award Trophy 14 times, based on combined earnings in Australasia. Cambridge Stud has been NZ’s leading yearling vendor for  30 years. The stud comprises approximately 1000 acres of lush Waikato pasture and is located in the heart of the Waikato, New Zealands capital of the breeding industry.

Your tour will be personally tailored to your specific requirements and can be to one or all of the studs and can also take in training establishments including the Cambridge Training Track, the largest training centre in New Zealand, catering for approximately 1000 horses each morning.
